About

I have always been an avid hiker and backpacker with considerable wilderness experience, and I began taking photography seriously six years ago at the encouragement of others. My speciality is photographing sweeping landscape scenes of wild waters in forests, mountains, canyons, and deserts.  My hiking and photography experience includes time in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming and California.  Yellowstone National Park is my favorite place.

I volunteer for Friends of Arizona Highways and have received numerous awards and recognition for my work.  Nature and the outdoors are God’s greatest cathedral and I strive to find His presence and glory in the wild and honor it in my work.

Michael, Looks like you have some great new images and I’m certainly not surprised. It is always so interesting to visit old places and new with changing weather conditions. I too hope your new book does really well, and I’m sure it will.

Thanks so much Nick. All the extra water was an added bonus! I hope you are doing well and it is great hearing from you.
